JEFFERSON — The Rusty Hinges, 32 North and Bill Tozier will present a concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 13, in the historic Old Jefferson Town House, Route 126.

The Rusty Hinges are a fixture on the local music scene. Members John Couch, John Monterisi, Kat Logan, Nancy Jones, Brian Dunn and Laura Buxbaum play folksongs, country, golden oldies, sea shanties, contemporary tunes and original songs with a variety of instruments — guitars, mandolin, banjo, accordian, fiddle, cello and pennywhistles. They are regulars on Tuesdays at the Narrows Tavern in Waldoboro and at the St. George River Cafe in Warren as well as other venues in the area.

32 North calls their music rhythm and bluegrass and always have a mixed set list. John Monterisi (guitar, vox) Cap. Frank Bedell (bass, pedal, vox) Gary McCue (guitar, harmonica, vox,) and Logan Sampson (fiddle) have played at the Contented Sole, Boothbay Harbor Inn, Schooner Landing, The Penalty Box, Oxbow Brewery and more. They play variety of tunes and styles. Tozier performs classic acoustic vocal hits from the 60s and 70s as well as some original songs.

Tickets will cost $10 at the door, proceeds will benefit the restoration and maintenance of the Old Town House by the Jefferson Historical Society. The building is handicapped accessible. Refreshments will be available.
