Augusta Police seek funding for crisis worker
Three years after the funding for the Augusta Police’s mental health crisis worker ran out, the position was filled again in August when Riverview Psychiatric Hospital added funding to its budget. With that funding set to run out in August, police officials are hoping to keep the position alive.
