HIGH SCHOOL FIELD HOCKEY: Big second half lifts Skowhegan by Lawrence
Skowhegan was indeed stronger in the second half, and finally wore down the Bulldogs. Rylie Blanchet finished with two goals and Allison Lancaster had one as the Indians defeated Lawrence 3-0 in an Eastern A semifinal Saturday evening at Thomas College.

HIGH SHOOL FIELD HOCKEY: Lawrence gets back to business, advances to semis
The Bulldogs had won eight in a row at one point during the regular season, finished with four losses and a tie in their final five games. Thursday was playoff time, and Lawrence dominated, holding Oxford Hills to one shot and earning a 1-0 victory in an Eastern A field hockey quarterfinal.

HIGH SCHOL FIELD HOCKEY: Bullen’s goal key as Mt. Blue tops Cony
For Jenna Bullen and all of the Cougars, the wait was worth it. Bullen drilled in a shot on the corner, and Sarita Crandall added a goal with 18 seconds left as No. 3 Mt. Blue held off No. 6 Cony 2-0 in an Eastern A field hockey quarterfinal Wednesday afternoon.
