Closure of two railroad crossings in Fairfield could promote economic development
The public is invited to a public hearing scheduled June 3 on the closure of two railroad crossings in Fairfield that town leaders have supported because it would attract federal funding that Pan Am Railways and the Maine Department of Transportation would use to fix four other crossings in town.
