A dire need for local hospital beds
Is it not sad that our loved ones cannot find a bed in a secure unit in Waterville and have to go many miles from home and family, and friends have to travel miles to see them? With a beautiful hospital like Seton not in use. The cost would not be great as it is already a hospital.

Editorial was like being blind-sided by a bully
Bullies exist in the strangest places; even the Kennebec Journal's editorial board! With but two days to respond, the board supports a return to last minute voter registration in Maine. Last minute editorial opinions give cover against citizen reply. Fairness gets kicked in the pants!

On abortion, two wrongs don’t make a right
When a deranged person uses the false logic, that if he eliminates an abortionist, he will save many babies lives, he is attempting to absolve himself of any wrongdoing (murder) against the good that will come from his action (babies saved).

Death of a heron shows range of Maine coyotes
Two days ago as I was driving on the Bowtown Road near Basin Mountain, Pierce Pond TWP a friend and I found an unusual incident had occurred. A Great Blue Heron had been caught and killed by three coyotes.

Cab drivers have to deal with insults from customers, emotional and verbal abuse from customers, physical abuse from customers, road rage, bullying, theft, intoxicated individuals (whether it be alcohol or drugs) on a daily basis.
