Auburn man seeks dismissal of DNA, firearm evidence in Alaska rape and murder case
Lawyers for Stephen H. Downs, 45, of Auburn filed motions Monday in an Alaska court seeking the dismissal of all DNA evidence and evidence of Downs' possession of weapons connected with the 1993 rape and slaying of a former student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
