Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said the Supreme Court decision that police must get a warrant to search a suspect’s cellphone won’t change much at the Maine State Police.

CONTINUING THE INVESTIGATION: Standing in a neighbor’s yard, authorities continue their investigation into the disappearance of Ayla Reynolds on Friday near her home on Violette Avenue in Waterville. Maine State Police have taken the lead in what they now call a criminal investigation.
Maine State Police have taped off the residence where 20-month-old Ayla Reynolds was last seen last week as investigators and searchers hunted for the missing toddler on Thursday.
