Learn about vaccines before children get them
I believe my only child, Samantha, died from childhood vaccinations. Her immune system gave in after she was given the shots.

Churches organized to teach their members
This letter is in response to Joan Moes' letter ("Romney's status in Mormon church scary") in the Oct. 29 edition. She's against religion if it's organized. I don't know what church she belongs to, or how old she is.

My heart goes out to the victims of Hurricane Sandy who lost loved ones, their homes, businesses, or perhaps their entire livelihood. I'm not certain how I would respond were I faced with such a catastrophe.
