Madison man charged in automobile crash that killed his son, injured other family members
Robert A. Simonds, 30, is facing manslaughter and several other charges following the crash in October that occurred after Simonds had smoked crack cocaine and marijuana, according to an arrest affidavit.

Gardiner-area principal to step down, with director of remote learning academy taking reins in July
Lauren Arnold, who is currently director of Western Maine Remote Academy, was hired Tuesday night by the MSAD 11 board of directors to replace Principal Chad Kempton, who held the job for about 20 years.
