Photos: Fairfield History House receives a Christmas makeover
About a dozen people have gathered each Tuesday since October to decorate the Fairfield History House, also known as the Cotton-Smith House, in time for a Christmas in Maine open house planned for Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. The house, owned by the Fairfield Historical Society, is located at 42 High St. in Fairfield. Augusta police cruiser was unlocked and running, with AR-15 rifle inside, when stolen, according to court documents
Kyle King, 27, who reportedly took the cruiser from the Augusta police station, contacted a dispatcher from the Shaw's Plaza, where a Farmington family said it had a confrontation with him. There is no indication King attempted to use the rifle, which was secured with a gun lock.
