The council's decision to revisit the controversial rules came after people clashed this week with council chairperson Sarah Fuller during a meeting, saying she should have recused herself from voting on the ordinance because of what they see as a conflict of interest.

More changes afoot as Waterville prepares for downtown traffic change
Parking on Main Street will be limited, access to the Ticonic Bridge from Main Street will not be allowed and other steps are being temporarily taken as the city prepares to convert Main and Front streets to two-way traffic next Friday.
