Augusta Skate Park to expand after fundraiser raises almost $150,000
Fundraiser in memory of Chris Thompson, a local skateboarder who was killed last year in an automobile accident, to fund expansion of the park meant to make it more welcoming to skaters of all abilities. Thompson was known for welcoming newcomers to the skate park.
