Photos: Theater at Monmouth revs up for another summer of shows
A summer tradition is set to return Saturday, when the Theater at Monmouth launches its 54th season at the historic Cumston Hall on Main Street. Professional actors will perform five plays over the next six weeks at the 250-seat opera hall inside the Romanesque Revival building. The shows range from Shakespeare's gender-bending comedy, "As You Like It," to Oscar Wilde's classic, "The Importance of Being Earnest." On Thursday, the cast of the contemporary musical "The Story of My Life" held a dress rehearsal ahead of Saturday's kickoff at 7:30 p.m. To view the full schedule and purchase tickets, visit theateratmonmouth.org.
