New Mainers group repurposes Hallowell church to house immigrants
The Capital Area New Mainers Project was gifted the Episcopal Church property in Hallowell after it closed in June, and is in the process of converting it into space for immigrants to live and gather.

Hallowell library repairs window panels believed damaged by vandalism
The estimate to replace the storm panels is $4,420, according to officials at the Hubbard Free Library.
