    LITHGOW LECTURE SERIES: Horticulturist kicks off ‘Fifty Shades’

    AUGUSTA -- Maine State Horticulturist Ann Gibbs will kick off a series of nature-related programs at Lithgow Public Library at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8 in the Reading Room. The series, called "Fifty Shades of Good Green Living" will feature a variety of speakers on different nature/outdoor topics. Gibbs will discuss identification and control of invasive plants, as well as the importance of preventive measures, early detection and rapid response, as stated in a news release.
