Man fatally shot by deputy at Newport campground was staying there with his family, owner says
Stephen Bossom, 35, was working part time at Sebasticook Lake Campground with his wife, Abbie, when Bossom, armed with a gun, had a confrontation Friday with a deputy from the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, according to the campground's owner and law enforcement officials.
