Pittsfield council plans public hearing on $1 million loan for Main Street sewer work
The Town Council scheduled the hearing for March 1 and while an ordinance allows up to just over $1 million for the loan, the town has received a grant for some of the work so the loan would likely not be for the full amount.

Somerset County grand jury indicts man accused of firing gunshots over car dispute
Among the indictments handed up last week was Wade Curtis, 35, of Hartland, who's charged with reckless conduct with a firearm after police say he fired shots at a man over dispute about a car in November.
