Sally (Fletcher) Hotham

ALBION – Sally (Fletcher) Hotham, 76, of Albion, passed away on Sept. 27, 2026, surrounded by family, after a long battle with Parkinson’s.

Sally was born on August 29, 1950, in Benton to Byron and Rosella Fletcher. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1969 and shortly after married her high school sweetheart Steve, who went on to enjoy 57 years of marriage together. They settled in Albion where they raised their two children, Dina and Travis.

Sally held several jobs over the years where she met many of her life-long friends, but her main focus was raising her children, making sure they made it every practice, game and event without ever being late. After retirement she enjoyed “puttering around” with her sisters and being a proud Mimi to Avery and Bennett, where she could always be found at a field, court, event, or with them having a sleepover at Mimi’s house.

Sally is survived by her husband Steve; her daughter Dina (Brad) Giggey, her son Travis (Katie); her grandchildren Brad, Damien, Samantha, Ryan, Avery and Bennett; great-grandchildren Zachary, Elise and Grace. She is also survived by her sisters (Mimi’s friends) Karen (Linwood) Doughty, Donna (Blaine) Bunker and Beth Stanhope, sisters-in-law Judy Hotham and Charleen Grotten; many nieces and nephews; as well as close friends Tobey and Cheryl.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother David and her twin sister Sandra.

Our family would like to give a special thanks to Shelly Oullette for her amazing care, compassion and friendship she showed our mom throughout their time together.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the VFW in Winslow from 1 to 4 p.m. To celebrate Sally please wear a pop of color or some “bling!”
