Doing what is right is in America’s best interest

Just think how many American lives could have been saved and how much money our country could have saved if instead of going to war against Adolf Hitler for his attempts to eliminate Jews and other "undesirables," we just sat on the sidelines and watched.

US should help negotiate settlement in Syria

I will be the first person to admit I don't know all the background and issues associated with the Syrian conflict. It's clear to me, however, that the recent deaths of hundreds of civilians by poison gas is a totally unacceptable escalation.

Drivers routinely ignore stop sign in Winslow

At the junction of Emily's Way and South Ridge Drive in Winslow, there is a stop sign. Often, vehicles do not come to a complete stop at this sign. Children live on these roads and bike around this intersection.
