    I've always liked round numbers. Let's imagine that an indexed-for-inflation $10 per hour minimum wage had been instituted at the turn of the millennium. We would now be at about $13.50.

    Without truth, everyone is cheated

    I have been trying to decide for months which I think is more corrupt: politicians of both parties or the mainstream media. I am unhappy with both, but I feel it is the liberal-biased media. If it doesn't fit their agenda, liberal media will edit it, take it out of context or just omit as much as possible.

    Alas, global warming is alive and flourishing

    Larry Grimard (letter, Feb. 15) asks, "Whatever happened to global warming?" and cites data from the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration indicating that while carbon dioxide concentrations have increased in the last 10 years, temperature has not.
