    In a day and age where there is little in the way of good news, we would like to make a personal acknowledgment for a person who took their job to a different level.

    What has God got to do with right to bear arms?

    Is it just me or do the majority of letters from the pro-gun people express a real lack of maturity? What is it that they are so terrified about? Is the state of Maine such a violent and terrifying place that a person needs assault weapons and munition magazines capable of killing dozens of people in seconds?

    Scouts shouldn’t change policy on homosexuals

    The Boy Scouts are considering changing their policy toward homosexuals. I believe that move would open them up to endless lawsuits and drain away scarce financial resources.
